Backsplash:
The raised lip on the back edge of a countertop to prevent water from running down the back of the cabinets.
A Backsplash can be made out of tile, granite, Formica (laminate), Bamboo, glass, metal. Your options are endless as long as the material is water resistant or can be sealed.

I created this Blog to give myself a way to vent, and unwind after a day of crunching numbers and staring at a computer screen full of budget sheets and contracts. It also lets me get back to what I love doing and that's informing people about construction and remodeling. Whether it's new products, materials on sale, classes being held, or just to getting stuff off my chest about what's going on in our business. This Blog gives me that chance. The chance to be that kid that went to work with his father, who was framing houses every summer sense I was 6, and loved every minute of it. It is my promise to you to keep that same love when it come to this Blog and The Remodel Spot.
